History UNESCO developed the idea of “creative city” and did his programs in 2004. Program of UNESCO creative cities network (UCCN) was designed aimed to regarding worthy herritage of countries, relying on creativity and technology and it wanted to encourage creative intelligence and collective wisdom and by using creativity as a “catalyst” of sustainable development gets help potential of member cities for finding a solution for ecological, social, and economic challenges of modern world. Helping reinforcement and developing creativity, technology, local economy, and cultural tourism are some strategies of this program. Finally, UNESCO creative city network was performed in seven fields: gastronomy, design, film, media, literature, crafts, folk arts, and music. Until 2017 more than 181 cities in the world are members of this network. From 2015 call, this program by goal of elimination the gap between modern or rich cities and cities which are poor but they have a potential was evaluated by the network and UNESCO. Until that time from Iran, Isfahan was noticed due to its rich culture, strong infrastructure and existence of big market of crafts and Rasht due to its gastronomy. After that, cities like Sanandaj and BandarAbbas should try to be in this network by attention to its cultural advantage.
