 “Aiming to introduce the biographies of prominent artists and elites in the province to today’s generation, Rare Bird, a documentary on the biography of the late Mirza Agha Ghouthi is displayed in the parallel section of the International Daf Festival, the Melody of Blessing.
the head of the Department of Cultural and Social Affairs of sanandaj Municipality, in a press conference announced that Rare Bird, a documentary on the biography of the late Mirza Agha Ghouthi is displayed.
“The late Khalifa Mirza Agha Ghouthi was one of the artists and Maddahs (religious singer) of Ahl al-Bayt who spent many years of his life on education and Maddahi (ceremonial singing).
“He was born in 1928 in a religious family in Sanandaj, and when he was a teenager, he began practicing Sufism and mysticism (Qaderi creed) with his father.” He added, “The late Khalifa Mirza Agha Ghouthi left an eternal name in history by participating in domestic and foreign festivals, to the extent that he became known as “the Father of Daf” in Iran.
 “Khalifa Mirza Agha Ghouthi has a First Order of Music in mystical Daf section, equivalent to a doctorate in art from the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance.” He stated, “Aiming to introduce the biography of this esteemed artist to the present generation, Rare Bird, a documentary on the biography of the late Mirza Agha Ghouthi is displayed at Bahman Cineplex in Sanandaj on 15 August 2019.” He maintained, “The biography of the late Khalifa Mirza Agha Ghouthi was commissioned by the municipality and the Islamic Council of Sanandaj and directed by Sattar Chaman Goli and its research was carried out by Vida Salehi.”
 “The 56-minute documentary includes the autobiography of this prominent figure and interviews with music elites about him.” Najafi declared, “This documentary will be displayed at Bahman Cineplex in Sanandaj at 18:00 on Thursday, August 15.”
The late Khalifa Mirza Agha Ghouthi died in 2007.
