The first Kurdish fashion and clothing exhibition was held in Khosro Abad Mansion and Fajr Cultural and Artistic Complex in Sanandaj, on July 28-31, with participants from West Azerbaijan, North Khorasan, Kermanshah and Kurdistan provinces.
More than 270 works were submitted to the secretary of the Kurdish Fashion and Clothing Festival in the fields of clothing design, sewing, and textile design. The workshop of “Kurdish fashion and clothing background as a symbol of Islamic-Iranian chastity and hijab”, and the workshop of “fashion and Islamic-Iranian clothing startup” (position of knowledge-based companies in promotion and advertising of Iranian clothing model in cyberspace) and explanatory-research meeting of the related trades of Kurdish clothing and clothing are among the workshops held at the festival. Exhibition sections include from idea to startup (design, dress, and sewing teams), jewelry, local handbags and shoes, Kurdish textile manufacturers, and traditional local textures. 28According to ISNA, in the Kurdistan region, the glitter of sunlight in the sequins and coins hanging on the walls in the pavilions of Kurdish fashion and clothing attract the viewers, and women dressing their local clothes come and go. Kurdish music has also doubled the vivacity and exuberance.
Looking at Kurdish bright, colorful clothing gives one a sense of joy and vitality, perhaps one of the main distinctive features of the Kurds is their delight and taste in choosing cheerful and colorful clothing. 28 Kurdish clothing pavilions and 22 photos of Kurdish clothing are displayed in Khosro Abad Mansion in Sanandaj at the First Festival and Fashion Show of Kurdish Clothing. Kalaneh and Dukhwa (local Kurdish food) pavilion is also available at this festival.
